Green smoothies are SUPER healthy and according to research and the ratings of others, people love green smoothies. Here are some of the top 4 benefits of green smoothies:
1. Green smoothies offer pure nutrition. The amount of vitamins you’ll get depends on the fruits and vegetables you choose for the smoothie. However, most fruits and vegetables are high in vitamins A and C. Guava is also high in fol-ate, while avocados provide high amounts of potassium and magnesium.
2. Green smoothies are much healthier than fruit or vegetable juices. When juices are extracted, you get vitamins and minerals but no fiber. However, smoothies are made using the whole fruit/vegetable, so you get all the fiber in your drink.
3. Green smoothies are a great way to eat your veggies without even realizing it. Although most people like fruit, many have trouble getting their daily requirement of veggies. When you make a green smoothie, the taste of the greens is hidden by the taste of the fruit, so you don’t even notice the veggies are there.
4. Making smoothies at home is a lot cheaper than buying them from some where else. Seriously! If you buy your smoothie from somewhere else you would be getting that smoothie for as little as $6. However, if you buy your ingrediant and make it home. Not only will you save more, you will get more servings left over.
INGREDIANTS:
2 cups of spinach, 2 freshly peeled oranges (peeled and seeded), 1/2 cup of water, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of strawberrries, and 2 bananas.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Blend spinach, orange juice and water until smooth.2. Next add the remaining fruits and blend again.   *Use frozen fruit to make smoothie cold. Feel free to use 3/4 cup water and 3/4 cup orange juice in place of the oranges and 1/2 cup water.*   This smoothie captured my attention because, as I was going through the different recipes most of them sounded the same. However when I went through this smoothie's ingredients, they all seemed more simple and more unique to me. Some of the benefits of this smoothie is that, if you do not like vegetables, it hides that flavor and only brings in the favor of the fruit. It hides the bitterness of the spinach, however you still get that benefit. You can also add in your own fruits and own vegetables to make this smoothie your very own. However most people prefer this version of the Strawberry Blueberry and Banana Smoothie. According to reviews, they say that the original can't beat any other way that they tried. Another benefit is that it is an amazing breakfast for you to start off your day. It's healthy and will give you plenty of energy that will last throughout the day.

BANANAS: Bananas are good for you right before a workout. Not only that, they are a great reservoir of energy. It is said that bananas can help you get rid of type-2 Diabetes, help with weight loss, strengthen the nervous system, and many other things. This is all just because Bananas have Vitamin B6 along side with them.
STRAWBERRIES: Strawberries are great source of vitamin C. If you get 2 servings of Strawberries then you will receive your 100% daily requirement of Vitamin C per day. Certain antioxidants can help people gain better eyesight. Strawberries prevent clouding of the over eye line which prevents you from getting blind at an old age. Since strawberries contain Vitamin C they can help you fight cancer. Certain antioxidants that are in a strawberry contain all elements needed to fight cancer.
BLUEBERRIES: Blueberries contain antioxidants, which work to neutralize free radicals linked to the development of cancer, cardiovascular disease and other age-related conditions. These little powerhouses provide tasty ways of staying healthy.
Low in fat — coming in at about 80 calories per cup and practically fat-free — blueberries are loaded with fiber to keep you fuller longer. Just a handful can satisfy your daily fiber requirement. Plus, blueberries are an excellent source of manganese, which plays an important part in bone development and converting carbohydrates and fats into energy.
